Three races. Nine peoples. A continent facing an unknown threat.
The Fall of Valtheron
For centuries, Humans, Elves and Orcs divided Valtheron among their cultures, territorial disputes and old rivalries. Then peaceful animals became aggressive, creatures left caves and ruins, and roads and settlements came under attack.
No one knows exactly when it began or where the corruption came from. The curse threatens every people. The need to survive brings them together to fight for a common cause.
Aldoron, where the journey begins
At the heart of the continent, Aldoron gathers descendants of the nine homelands, with no predominant ethnicity. Humans, Elves and Orcs live, work and train side by side. The alliance already exists when new heroes arrive.
Adventurers set out from Aldoron to protect communities, keep roads open and investigate altered creatures. Every discovery raises new questions about what is happening in Valtheron.
Nine peoples, nine cultural origins
- Valéria — Valerians: fertile fields, fortified cities, farming and military traditions.
- Sahra — Sahrians: dry plains, canyons and trade routes between rivers and oases.
- Kandara — Kandarians: rivers, forests and communities that value oral tradition and their connection to the land.
- Elarion — Elarians: ancient valleys and groves, with knowledge preserved across many generations.
- Sylvaris — Sylvarians: communities among dense forests and rivers, closely connected to nature.
- Lunara — Lunarians: mountains and lakes, scholarship and observation of the stars.
- Gorath — Gorathians: plains and hunting grounds, endurance and survival in open territory.
- Drakar — Drakarians: mountains, caves and stone fortresses.
- Mordun — Mordunians: canyons and dry lands, tribal tradition, honor and loyalty.
Valéria, Sahra and Kandara are Human; Elarion, Sylvaris and Lunara are Elven; Gorath, Drakar and Mordun are Orc. The nine peoples have their own histories and predominant appearances. Every origin begins the journey in Aldoron.
The Shadow of Nocthar
Ancient records and travelers' accounts mention Nocthar, a distant continent. Some stories speak of a warrior consumed by a dark force; others mention vampires, werewolves and infernal beings. Much of this remains a mixture of legend and rumor.
These peoples did not invade Valtheron. What arrived was the curse. The warrior's identity, his possible connection to the corruption and how that force crossed the distance between the continents remain unknown.
