Progression

How your character develops throughout the game.

Progression combines character level, skills and equipment. Earn experience through combat, quests and expeditions, and follow the XP bar in the interface.

Class skills

The first skill is learned through a quest. The second unlocks at level 10 and the third at 20. Each class has its own sequence; check range, mana and cooldown before using a skill.

Preparing your next equipment

Grade organizes equipment into tiers: No Grade, D, C, B, A and S. Each piece also has its own minimum level, and weapons must match the character's class. Buying a piece does not remove those requirements.

Check each item's source: shop, quest, creature, boss or crafting. Gather the required materials before changing sets. Enchantment, Soul Crystals and Life Stones are separate systems with their own requirements.

More than gaining levels

Quests also open paths and introduce companions. The Codex and achievements record discoveries and accomplishments. Use these panels to choose goals beyond the next XP bar.
