Orcs of Valtheron

Gorath, Drakar and Mordun. Endurance, honor and loyalty.

Peoples of Valtheron

Orcs originate in Gorath, Drakar and Mordun. Life on plains, mountains and arid lands shaped distinct cultures with traditions of endurance, strength and loyalty. The curse threatening their lands also affects Humans and Elves. In Aldoron, former rivals find a common cause: protecting Valtheron.

The Three Classes

Orcs have three classes, each with its own role, weapons and rhythm:

  • Colossus — an offensive tank wielding a colossal greatsword.
  • Shaman — a support class that summons ancestral spirits.
  • Berserker — two axes, fury and raw damage.

See all nine classes of Valtheron on the classes page.

The Three Orc Peoples

Gorath — the Gorathian people. Vast plains, hills and hunting grounds shaped a culture of endurance, strength and survival in open territory. Olive-green skin tones predominate.

Drakar — the Drakarian people. Cliffs, caves and fortresses built in stone are part of mountain life. Their inhabitants are among Valtheron's most resilient peoples. Gray, slate and stone-colored skin tones predominate.

Mordun — the Mordunian people. Canyons, rocky terrain and extensive dry lands preserve a long tribal tradition that values strength, honor and loyalty. Ochre and reddish-brown skin tones predominate.

Combat Style

Orc classes offer endurance, support and pressure in combat. The Colossus takes a greatsword to the front line, the Shaman strengthens allies with totems and ancestral spirits, and the Berserker channels fury through two axes.

Orc classes: Colossus, Shaman and Berserker. Different styles within the same peoples, each with a distinct role in the group.

Aldoron and the Common Cause

The threat of the curse led Orcs to cooperate with Humans and Elves. Old wars remain in memory, but protecting communities depends on an alliance between the peoples.

Orcs of every origin begin their journey in Aldoron. The region welcomes descendants from across the continent, who live, work and train side by side while seeking answers about the corruption.
