The Codex is the gladiator's personal record of discoveries: a collection filled through play, rather than purchases.
What it records
- Encountered creatures — each species seen in Valtheron gains an entry.
- Discovered items — the gladiator's knowledge is recorded in the Codex.
- Explored locations — the parts of the continent you have visited.
- Experienced stories — summaries and outcomes of completed quests.
How to complete it
Creature encounters, entering maps, acquiring items and completing quests record discoveries. Open the Codex from the HUD, with the C key or from the mobile menu.
To add an item to the permanent collection, choose Register in Codex while you own a copy. Registration does not consume the item or grant attributes, and remains after the item is sold, used or discarded.
