Meet the Guardian
The Guardian holds the front line with sword and shield. The role is to keep enemies under pressure and make room for allies to act.
On Valtheron's threatened roads, endurance is another way to protect the alliance. Taunt draws enemy attention while Bulwark temporarily reduces incoming damage.
Playstyle
- ◆Absorbs damage and keeps enemies focused on them.
- ◆Stuns nearby enemies with Shield Bash.
- ◆Uses Taunt and Bulwark to strengthen their own defense.
Signature skills
In the development version, the first skill is learned through a quest. The next skills unlock at levels 10 and 20, in the order below.
Shield Bash
A frontal shield strike that stuns up to three nearby enemies.
Taunt
A shout that draws the hostility of nearby enemies and strengthens your guard.
Bulwark
Stand firm: greatly reduces incoming damage for a few seconds.
